Caregiver Needed
Looking for caregiver to provide part-time care (in my home in Fruitland Park). I am 55 years old and need complete assistance with all daily living tasks due to a spinal cord injury that left me completely paralyzed from the neck down.
This job does not require you to have any specialized skills, medical certificates or degrees as long as you are willing/able to train & learn my caregiving routine and perform the tasks I need.
Responsibilities of the caregiver may include:
Bathing, dressing, transferring from bed to wheelchair with Hoyer lift
Preparing meals (feeding client) and shopping for groceries or other essentials
Light housekeeping and laundry
Transporting client to and from appointments, errands, activities
I am on program that requires you to pass a background check. Pay rate $10.25 per hour and will increase in September 2022 to $11 per hour.
Paid biweekly.
The shifts I have available are:
Mondays: 7 AM to 7 PM = 12 hours
Wednesdays: 7 AM to 7 PM = 12 hours
Fridays: 7 AM – 1 PM = 6 hours
30 hours total per week
Sign-on bonus for new employees.
The bonus will be paid to the employee after they are actively working without calling off unless it’s an emergency at the end of 3 months after their start date.. The dollar amount will be $300 (so $100 per each month worked).
